About Us.....

We purchased Woodmere in Summer of 2000.   Since we've been here we've built a workshop, an art studio barn and a boat dock.  We love the area and enjoy meeting guests from all over the USA.  We've had guests from India, New Zealand and Germany and from all over the states.

Joan:  Member of the Hermann Arts Council, the Hermann Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the Hermann Garden Club.   Enjoys quilting, fiber arts, scherenschnitte (German Papercutting), watercolors and stitchery. 

Pete:  A true Collector, loves antique tractor shows and Threshermen Meets, Model A Fords and Fishing.   Loves restoration projects and has restored everything from an antique player piano to an antique John Deere tractor.
